Avalanche Awareness Demo Day
by the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center Location: Homestake Lodge (530 Upper Rader Creek Rd, Whitehall) Date: January 18th (Saturday) Time: 10;00 AM Learn how to use a beacon, probe and shovel, the basics of an avalanche and how to stay safe in the backcountry. Course will be limited to the first 10 people to sign up. This will be an indoor/outdoor course so participants should dress accordingly. Course is open to anyone who uses the back country including skier, snowboarders, snow-shoers, and snowmobilers. If you have your own gear feel free to bring it! PLEASE SUBMIT ONE REGISTRATION FORM PER PARTICIPANT. If you would like to register multiple participants, please complete one form per participant.
